The BRIGID fire service communication system is a powerful partnership of server and clients which brings a new range of versatile communication with individual officers and appliances. You can download a BRIGID brochure in PDF format (450kb).

The integrated BRIGID system provides comprehensive mobile data communications to vehicles and officers. BRIGID comes in three parts:

• BRIGID Server is the heart of the system. It communicates in standard GD92 protocol messages with all leading C&C systems, and communicates reliably with mobile clients over any available carrier.
• BRIGID Vehicle is designed for permanent vehicle mounting systems. It offers large-screen, touch operated functionality.
• BRIGID PDA client software running on an inexpensive phone-enabled PDA brings the functionality of a full mobile data terminal into an individual officer’s pocket.

BRIGID is currently in daily use with various fire services in the UK.
